Alexandra Neuman
Hi I am Alexandra Neuman a Zimbabwean born British citizen with a Hungarian father and a French mother.
I started my career at the Conde Nast offices in Portland Place, London before moving to a very spacious caravan in Sydney, Australia, where the offices of Federal Publishing were temporarily located. A large fire had destroyed their old premises and they were awaiting the completion of their new building.
After my time there I spent a number of very happy years freelancing and writing primarily about interior design, travel and gardening before returning to an in-house position as Travel & Special Projects Editor of Australian House & Garden magazine.
Now I am happily freelancing again from Bergamo, a Venetian walled town at the base of the Italian Alps and my inspiration comes from a view of verdant vineyards, olive and citrus groves, a cobbled street and church spire set against a backdrop of distant snow capped mountain peaks.
